Rolwalling Trek is the east-west valley below Guri Shanker (7145m), just south of the Tibetan boarder. Most of the villages you will cross through will be Tibetan. But in some of the villages below 2500m you will find mixed cultures of Bhramen, Magar, Sherpa and Chheteree ethnic group. This is an isolated and culturally diverse area.  The Rolwalling Trek concludes into Khumbu Valley after crossing the Tashi Lapcha (5755m). Some people start their trek from Khumbu. We prefer the other way, starting your trek from Barebeshi.  This way you can comfortably ascend from the low altitudes, giving you enough days for proper acclimatization as well time to slowly become more physically fit.

A technical trek offers you views of Mt. Everest and of Gokyo Valley. To do this trek you should have some rock climbing and ice climbing experience.

Rolwalling Trek details itinerary:

Day 01: Arrive in the Kathmandu international Airport and transfer to the hotel.

Day 02: Half day's sightseeing and evening pre-trek preparation.

Day 03: Drive by bus/car to Barabiseand prepare for the trek.

Day 04: Trek from Barabise to Dolangsa. 2400m.

Day 05: Trek from Dolangsa to Yarsa. 3050m.

Day 06: Trek from Yarsa to Loding. 1750m.

Day 07: Trek from Loding to Chayarsa. 2000m.

Day 08: Trek from Chayarsa to Manthale. 1100m.

Day 09: Trek from Manthale to Simigaon. 2100m.

Day 10: Trek from Simigaon to Gyalche/Donga. 2800m.

Day 11: Trek from Gyalche/Donga to Beding. 3680m.

Day 12: Acclimatization at Donga.

Day 13: Trek to Na 4200m.

Day 14: Trek to Tsho Rolpa. 4500m.

Day 15: Trek from TshoRopla Lake to Tashilapcha Phedi.

Day 16: Tashilapcha Phedi Rest for acclimatizes.

Day 17: Trek from TashilapchaPhedi to Tashilapche cross and camp.

Day 18: Trek from Thyangbo Kharka the First village on that region.

Day 19: Trek from Thyangbo kharka to Thame.

Day 20: Trek from Thame to Monjo.

Day 21: Trek from Monjo to Lukla.

Day 22: Lukla and back to Kathmandu by flight and trek concludes.

Day 23: Fly back to home

If departing, you’ll be transferred to the International Airport for your departure flight.
